System Quirks: Music vs. Audio

You would think a phrase like ‘play audio’ would be pretty self-explanatory; but not always! The command ‘play audio’ codes for a sound you only want to play once (think of a tone playing when a button is pressed, or an alarm that sounds at a certain time). ‘Play music’, on the other hand, is for an audio file that loops in a scene, like background music or nature sounds. We use the ‘play music’ command in our website code to play soothing background music in the recovery room scene.
